While a lot of the world was getting drunk on New Years Eve or watching the ball drop in Times Square, Beyonce was making her way up the Billboard Hot 100. Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It) was rated as the number 1 single of January 2009 even before the time hit midnight. Last week, Single Ladies was still rated as the most popular single with 11 weeks on the Billboard Hot 100 charts.
Beyonce better watch out because Lady Gaga feat. Colby O’Donnis is holding at a steady number 2 spot with Just Dance with T.I.’s Live Your Life feat. Rihianna bring up the rear at a strong number 3.
Will Beyonce keep her throne at number 1 or will she be blind-sided by Lady Gaga or T.I.? Who knows.
Ugh. I’m not a big Beyonce fan. She’s everywhere and seems like she’s stuck on herself.
I agree, not a big Beyonce fan here either. I think her time will come when she’s no longer the top female R&B artist and someone takes her spot.
